From Swanage on the Dorset coast, Galaxy Thief are Yamaha Music London Ambassadors, meaning they represent Yamaha across the UK.
Formed in early 2017, influences from Nothing But Thieves, The 1975, The Band CAMINO & Angels and Airways infuse their own unique and unprecedented sound. From local pubs to popular music venues and festivals around the UK, including Bestival 2017, Main Stage at Silverstone F1 Grand Prix 2017 to headlining Southampton’s Music in the City, they have built a reputation for energetic live shows that bring their fans back time and again.
Since creation, they have unleashed their first EP ‘Mind Games’ and released four singles, all of which have received hundreds of radio plays including BBC Introducing and BBC Solent. The band’s second EP ‘Fires You Can’t Put Out’, featuring their most popular track to date ‘Better’, has drawn a wider audience worldwide, followed by a lockdown experiment of alternative versions, FYCPO ‘Alternatives’.
In July 2021, the band recorded four diverse and ground breaking new tracks with the first release, FREE, in October 2021, followed by TIMEWASTER and REASON in 2022.
Asha Zee is a 16 year-old singer-songwriter from Dorset with an incredibly soulful and haunting voice. Her music videos have had over half a million views on Facebook and her music has been streamed over 300,000 times on Spotify. Her aim is to spend her life making music for her fans to enjoy and appreciate.
Formed 6+ years ago at school, The Undecided have played more than 100 gigs to date across Dorset including Teddy Rocks and Volksfest, numerous pub gigs and even headlining tea on the quay!
Charlene Clease is a singer/songwriter from Weymouth. Charlene reached #1 on the Amazon download charts with her original single ‘We Paid In You Pay Out’ supporting women’s pension injustice. Charlene released her debut EP ‘Back with You’ in 2020 and has been spending time writing more original music since. She is looking forward to performing some of her original songs at Anonymous Festival.
Shannon has been a solo musician gigging around Dorset for about 3 years, playing lots of festivals and bars. Trying to win people’s hearts with her politically fuelled songs and singing about what is important to her. She has supported lots of people in the past like Black Water County and Sinful Maggie. Her favourite artists include Bob Dylan, Billy Bragg and Joe Strummer. Shannon is also getting ready with new songs to record an EP in 2022.
Conor can often be found performing solo with his signature blue acoustic guitar.
He has played at places such as Mill Farm Folk Festival, Shaftsbury Fringe as well as gigging and busking around Dorset.
The singer has also been featured on BBC introducing. Conor is also a talented song writer and has released two singles ‘V.I.P’ and ‘Purple Skies’ in 2022. His new single, ‘Please Don’t Go’ will be released on the 19th August!
Mae is a Weymouth based vocalist, who’s songs have been played on BBC Radio, and has been working on and off with Antix Music Network in producing her own material. She’s also spending the summer playing in many venues and festivals across the South West.
Recently turning 18, Lizzie from Weymouth has already had a fulfilling career, from releasing her debut EP ‘Reality’ in 2021, to releasing various singles and music videos, and performing at festivals across the South West and Bournemouth areas.
16 year old multi-instrumentalist Ben has had an extremely busy opening year of his career, starting with the release of an 11 track album called ‘Be Safe, Goodbye’. Releasing the album in July 2022, the rest of the summer will be filled with performances, including Sherborne’s Classic Car Show, and Home Farm Fest.
Vicky started writing songs when she was 15 and has since released her debut EP “I’ll Be Me” in 2021, her very own Christmas single and a charity single. She has since performed the local pub circuit and several festivals, as well as being a runner up at this year’s open mic competition at Hardy’s Pub, Dorchester.
Hi I’m Olivia. I’m 14 years old and a singer from Bournemouth. I have been singing locally since April this year. I sing relaxing covers and hoping to soon create original songs of my own.
Maisie Sheridan is a 17 year old singer / songwriter from Weymouth. She has performed since the age of 5, both as a singer and dancer in and around Weymouth. Last year Maisie co- wrote and recorded a song to raise money for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance. She has been invited to sing at many events over the years. Maisie is currently studying music at college and is excited to be sharing her own material later this year.
